| Abstract: | The Low Tatras National Park was established in 1978 as the third national park in Slovakia. Due to its area, together with the protection zone, it represents the largest large-scale protected area in Slovakia.The aim of the paper is to briefly characterize the basic assumptions and the degree of development of tourism in the Low Tatras National Park as well as to analyze its physico-geographical structure. |
