Діяльність Кам'янець-Подільської філії музичного товариства імені Миколи Леонтовича у першій половині ХХ сторіччя

Abstract

У статті на основі архівних, документальних та історичних матеріалів висвітлено процес становлення та функціонування Кам’янець-Подільської філії Музичного товариства ім. М. Леонтовича в першій половині ХХ століття. Розглянуто діяльність видатних подільських музикантів, педагогів та громадських діячів у контексті культурологічних процесів. Охарактеризовано регіональну специфіку даної сторінки в історії розвитку подільського музичного мистецтва та культури регіону.

Леонтовича в первой половине ХХ века. Рассмотрена деятельность выдающихся подольских музыкантов, педагогов и общественных деятелей в контексте культурологических процессов. Охарактеризована региональная специфика данной страницы в истории развития подольского музыкального искусства и культуры региона.

In the article on the basis of the documentary and historical materials archived, it is reflected the foundation and functioning of Kamianets-Podilskiy musical society named after M. Leontovich in the first half of XX century. The activity of prominent musicians, teachers and publicmen of Podillya is considered in the context of culturological processes of the first half of XX century. An author marks the regional specific of this page from the history culture of Podillya. In 1921 the Allukrainian committee of memory of Mykola Leontovich was organized. In 1922 it was renamed into musical society named after M. Leontovich (MSL). Bandleaders, performers, artists, theatergoers and publicmen participated there. The members of society carried out active musical elucidative activity. At the beginning his work was conducted in two commissions – musical and museum, and afterwards in choral, publisher and others. The society had branches all over Ukraine. The branch in Kamianets-Podilskiy began to function in August, 1922. It’s first chairman was Tadey Ganitskiy. Unfortunately it’s work was not very effective. And only in 1925, under the guidance of Arkhуp Teslenko, the situation became better. The best representatives of intelligention were united around him: musicians, teachers, research workers, musically gifted students of educational establishments, professional and amateur musical collectives of region. For a year the choir was organized under the conductor of Vasyl Gotsa and chamber string band (conductor Vasyl Besyadovskiy). The musical dramatic studio of T. Ganitskiy attained a considerable success and musical school was created on the base of it. In January, 1926 Yevhen Kondratskiy became a director of the branch. The branch of Kamianets-Podilskiy had an expressly certain structure of work organization. It was divided into three departments: scientific-creative, administrative-finance and mass work. Each of them was divided into sections. Methodological, ethnographic, pedagogical, composer’s, and library sections belonged to the first department; administration, finances, office work, legal part – to the second one; department of mass work – choral, orchestral, instrumental, musical-vocal sections and the press – to the third one. In 1925 by a branch initiative a “Music Day” was approved and since then it annually was celebrated at the beginning of December. In that period of time a branch of Kamianets-Podilskiy of MSL was the most numerous one in Ukraine. 282 persons and 24 organizations were included in it. Kamianets-Podilskiy branch members organized chief concerts, read lectures, conducted disputes, engaged in retraining of musical workers of neighbourhood in the special courses, carried out numerous trips with participation of performers and collectives in townships and villages of the Podillya province. The participants of society came forward as active propagandists of Ukrainian music and promoted to development and distribution of musical education in Podillya. In 1928 the society was reorganized in Allukrainian society of revolutionary musics (AUSRM), which actually had been active till 1932.
