Іронічний світогляд як основа буття головного персонажа у романі В. Винниченка «Записки Кирпатого Міфестофеля»

Abstract

У статі досліджено специфіку художнього моделювання головного персонажа роману В. Винниченка «Записки Кирпатого Мефістофеля»; проаналізовано концепти іронії та екзистенційної (нігілістичної) нудьги у світоглядній парадигмі героя роману та їхнє відображення у текстовому діапазоні твору.

В статье исследована специфика художественного моделирования главного персонажа романа В. Винниченко «Записки Курносого Мефистофеля»; проанализированы концепты иронии и экзистенциальной (нигилистической) скуки в мировоззренческой парадигме героя романа и их отражение в текстовом диапазоне произведения.

The article explored the specific artistic modeling of the main character of the V. Vynnychenko’s novel “Snub-nosed Mephistopheles' Notes”; the concepts of irony and the existential (nihilistic) boredom in the ideological paradigm of the hero and their reflection in the text range of the novel were analyzed. The existential of the irony as the total negation, which is the basis for philosophical and aesthetic theory of S Kierkegaard, corresponds to the ethical and aesthetic aspects of the ontological perspective of the Ukrainian early modernism and can fully represent discursive features of the Vynnychenko’s style and the inherent properties of his fiction space. The ironic life of the main character of the novel “Snub-nosed Mephistopheles' Notes” is a total negation of his environment, morality and the solid escapism. This movement of Jakiv Mykhailyuk leads to the existential (nihilistic) boredom, living what he is polyphonic, "halved", "cracked" Mephistopheles, and he destroies the established reality and constructs the new life conditions for other characters. Jakiv Mykhailyuk is modeled as the ironiс hero, which characterized the modernist "polyexistence" and the variability of masks and roles – the lawyer, the dreamer, the revolutionary, Mephistopheles, the benefactor, "home friend" and finally – the father, and he chooses the last. The architectonic of the novel is subordinated to the ironic essence of the character-narrator, and the genre of diary (notes) recordes the conglomerate of visions and experiences, which create the figure of Jakiv Mykhailyuk and develop the event-space of the novel.
