Читання як шлях до себе

Abstract

У статті порушено проблему читання, яке виявляється важливою умовою самоусвідомлення людини. Зосереджено увагу, з одного боку, на працях представників різних літературознавчих методологій (феноменології, герменевтики, рецептивної естетики, семіотики, постструктуралізму та ін.), у яких рецепція художнього твору перебуває в центрі дослідницьких зацікавлень, а з іншого, на художніх творах, у яких наявні звертання до адресата (читача) або в яких персонажі, читаючи, шукають та усвідомлюють себе. Продемонстровано, що сутність читання здебільшого осягається через антропологічну перспективу: народження читача і його дозрівання (що супроводжується формуванням і застосуванням «екзистенційного посвідчення особи»), відчуття катастрофи (пов’язане з ототожненням читача з персонажами художнього твору, а відтак із кризою власної ідентичності), діалог з Іншим, насолода (яку читач отримує від гри, що провадить із ним автор і текст), любов (яка дає змогу впустити у своє існування Іншого), самоідентифікація (що приводить читача до розуміння світу і себе у світі).

The paper deals with the problem of reading, being revealed as an important condition of person’s self-understanding. The attention is paid, on the one hand, to the works by representatives of different literary criticism methodologies (phenomenology, hermeneutics, aesthetics of reception, semiotics, poststructuralism etc.), putting the reception of artistic work into the centre of research interests, and, on the other hand, to literary works where appealings to the addressee (reader) are present or characters are searching for themselves and understanding themselves by reading. The paper reveals that essence of reading is mainly comprehended by means of anthropological perspective: reader’s birth and ripening (accompanied with forming and using of «existential identity card»), feeling of catastrophe (connected with reader’s identification with characters of literary work and thus with crisis of his identity), dialogue with Other, pleasure (being got by the reader from the game the author and the text are playing with him), love (giving possibility for Other to live in one’s existence), selfidentification (leading the reader to comprehending of world and himself in the world).
