Українська інтелігенція Східної Галичини (кінець ХІХ – початок ХХ ст.)

Abstract

Дослідження присвячене становленню та розвитку української інтелігенції Східної Галичини кінця ХІХ – початку ХХ ст. У роботі проаналізовано соціальне походження інтелігенції, її освітній рівень, професійна структура та суспільний статус. Висвітлено світоглядні орієнтири, трудову та професійну діяльність, особливості сімейного життя та соціальне середовище. Розкрито взаємозв’язок між соціальними умовами, культурною та економічною ситуацією в регіоні й професійною реалізацією української інтелігенції, її роллю у формуванні національної ідентичності та культурного простору. Простежено мотиви вибору професії, соціальні та сімейні орієнтири, а також взаємини інтелігенції з іншими соціальними групами.

The study is dedicated to the formation and development of the Ukrainian intelligentsia of Eastern Galicia at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The work analyzes the social origins of the intelligentsia, their educational level, professional structure, and social status. It highlights their worldview orientations, labor and professional activities, features of family life, and social environment. The research reveals the interconnection between social conditions, the cultural and economic situation of the region, and the professional realization of the Ukrainian intelligentsia, as well as its role in shaping national identity and the cultural space. The motives behind professional choices, social and family orientations, and interactions of the intelligentsia with other social groups are also traced.
