Польсько-угорські взаємини в Австро-Угорській імперії 1900–1918 рр.

Abstract

Метою статті є аналіз генези польсько-угорських суспільно-політичних взаємин в середині Австро-Угорської імперії протягом 1900–1918 рр. та визначення специфіки формування від повідних міжнаціональних відносин, а також тих обставини, у яких вони утвердилися та розвивалися Дослідження спрямоване на виявлення фундаменту цих стосунків, аналіз стратегії їх розвитку з боку польської та угорської еліт. Методологія дослідження базується на загальнонаукових (аналіз та синтез, систематизація, узагальнення) і спеціально-наукових (історико-порівняльний, функціональний аналіз) методах дослі дження, які дають змогу проаналізувати всі закономірності побудови польсько-угорських стосунків в історичній динаміці та під впливом складної геополітичної ситуації в Європі початку ХХ ст. Наукова новизна дослідження полягає в тому, що було проведено комплексний огляд проблеми співпраці між польськими та угорськими політичними елітами в Габсбурзькій монархії 1900–1918 рр. Висновки. Польсько-угорські взаємини на початку ХХ ст. розвивалися під впливом тривалої історичній традиції та геополітичної ситуації в якій опинилися обидва народи в цей період. Польські та угорські еліти стали близькими союзниками у політичному житті Габсбурзької монархії. Вибух Першої світової війни ще більше поглибив ці стосунки, що призвело до спільної роботи над формуван ням польських національних підрозділів в складі австрійської армії.

The purpose of the article is to analyze the genesis of Polish-Hungarian socio-political rela tions within the Austro-Hungarian Empire during 1900–1918 and to determine the specifics of the formation of relevant interethnic relations, as well as the circumstances in which they were established and developed. The study is aimed at identifying the foundation of these relations, analyzing the strategy of their development by the Polish and Hungarian elites. The research methodology is based on general scientific (analysis and synthesis, systematization, gener alization) and special scientific (historical-comparative, functional analysis) research methods, which make it possible to analyze all the regularities of the construction of Polish-Hungarian relations in historical dynamics and under the influence of the complex geopolitical situation in Europe of the early twentieth century. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the fact that a comprehensive review of the problem of cooper ation between Polish and Hungarian political elites in the Habsburg Monarchy in 1900–1918 was conducted. Conclusions. Polish-Hungarian relations at the beginning of the twentieth century. developed under the influence of a long historical tradition and the geopolitical situation in which both peoples found themselves during this period. Polish and Hungarian elites became close allies in the political life of the Habsburg Mon archy. The outbreak of World War I further deepened these relations, leading to joint work on the formation of Polish national units within the Austrian army.
