Abstract: The article presents the results of an empirical study examining the characteristics of adolescents’ school anxiety in the context of the contemporary educational environment. The aim of the study was to identify the level and structural components of school anxiety among adolescents. The sample consisted of 40 adolescents aged 10-12 years who were students of a Kyiv lyceum. School anxiety was assessed using Phillips’ School Anxiety Test. The findings revealed elevated levels of anxiety in situations involving academic evaluation, fear of failing to meet others’ expectations, and interactions with teachers. The results indicate an uneven structure of school anxiety and highlight key directions for psychological support of adolescents within the school environment.
