Структура водокористування водогосподарських ділянок річки Дністер від гирла річки Серет до державного кордону України

Abstract

Within the studied territory – two water management plots of the Dniester River, from the city of Mohyliv-Podilskyi to the state border of Ukraine – the total water intake in 2024 amounted to 55,77 million m3 of water. In the area of the studied water management plots, 85% of water intake comes from surface sources. The water is used for industrial (66%), drinking and sanitary (27%) needs and for irrigation (6%). The total volume of water discharged within the studied territory in 2024 was about 32,7 million m3 of water. During the year, 31,2 million m3 of wastewater was discharged into surface water bodies in the territory of two water management plots. Of this, 70% falls into the category of normatively clean and 28% is treated at treatment facilities.
