| Abstract: | The article substantiates the importance of societal initiatives to honor the memory of Ukrainian athletes who died in the Russian-Ukrainian war. Commemorating fallen Ukrainian heroes through various events serves as an effective tool for fostering national consciousness and pride, as well as a powerful means of instilling patriotism in the younger generation. Examples of international and national initiatives, as well as events in the Ternopil region, dedicated to honoring the memory of fallen Ukrainian athletes, are provided. |
