Симфонічний оркестр Тернопільської обласної філармонії: творчі досягнення і плани

Abstract

Зроблено спробу репрезентації творчих здобутків академічного симфонічного оркестру Тернопільської обласної філармонії як важливого осередка культурно-мистецького життя регіону початку XXI ст. Представлено низку творчих проєктів колективу, результати співпраці з відомими диригентами та солістами України і зарубіжжя. Увагу зосереджено на репрезентації історії та творчих досягнень академічного симфонічного оркестру Тернопільської обласної філармонії. Засновником, художнім керівником та головним диригентом є автор статті. Окреслено його роки становлення як диригента та особисті творчі досягнення.

An attempt was made to represent the creative achievements of the academic symphony orchestra of the Ternopil Regional Philharmonic as an important center of the cultural and artistic life of the region at the beginning of the 21st century. It was established that the foundations of performing traditions in Ternopil were laid by generations of amateur musicians, members of cultural and artistic societies of the interwar period. The period of formation of professional orchestra performance is associated with the establishment of musical cultural and educational institutions of various levels, with the functioning of professional collectives, in particular at the Ternopil Regional Philharmonic. The history of the creation of a number of instrumental and vocal-instrumental ensembles at the Philharmonic is briefly presented. Attention is focused on the representation of the history and creative achievements of the academic symphony orchestra of the Ternopil Regional Philharmonic. The author of the article is the founder, artistic director and chief conductor. His formative years as a conductor and personal creative achievements are outlined. A short list of the team’s awards as a participant in International and All-Ukrainian competitions, festivals, art projects is provided. The names of prominent modern foreign and Ukrainian conductors, who collaborated with the orchestra, conducted master classes on stylistics, genre characteristics, the culture of orchestral sound, etc., are listed. It is noted that cooperation with famous Ukrainian and foreign soloists, singers and instrumentalists contributed to the enrichment of the palette of the orchestraʼs performance repertoire. It was established that the symphony orchestra prepared and performed more than 200 concert programs. The focus is on the preparation and performance of samples of Ukrainian music. Thus, the author of the article orchestrated more than 150 Ukrainian folk and original songs, 32 carols for symphony orchestra with soloists. The results of cooperation with the famous conductor and cellist D. Severin (Switzerland) are presented. A generalization of the team’s creative plans has been made.
