Підготовка майбутніх екологів до професійного спілкування в іншомовному середовищі

Abstract

Дисертація на здобуття наукового ступеня кандидата педагогічних наук за спеціальністю 13.00.04 – теорія та методика професійної освіти. – Тернопільський національний педагогічний університет імені Володимира Гнатюка, Міністерство освіти і науки, молоді та спорту України, Тернопіль, 2013. У дисертації досліджено проблему підготовки майбутніх екологів до професійного спілкування в іншомовному середовищі. На основі аналізу й узагальнення теоретико-методологічних основ підготовки майбутніх екологів до професійного спілкування в іншомовному середовищі розроблено та експериментально перевірено відкриту систему підготовки майбутніх екологів до професійного спілкування в іншомовному середовищі, спроектовано її на навчальний процес з метою підвищення ефективності формування іншомовної професійної комунікативної компетенції майбутніх екологів. Окреслено ключові характеристики та компоненти відкритої системи підготовки майбутніх екологів до професійного спілкування в іншомовному середовищі. Доведено ефективність відкритої системи підготовки майбутніх екологів до професійного спілкування в іншомовному середовищі.

На основе анализа и обобщения теоретико-методологических основ подготовки будущих экологов к профессиональному общению в иноязычной среде разработана и экспериментально проверена открытая система подготовки будущих экологов к профессиональному общению в иноязычной среде. Система спроектирована на учебный процесс с целью повышения эффективности формирования иноязычной профессиональной коммуникативной компетенции будущих экологов. Определены ключевые характеристики и компоненты открытой системы подготовки будущих экологов к профессиональному общению в иноязычной среде. Доказана эффективность открытой системы подготовки будущих экологов к профессиональному общению в иноязычной среде.

Scientific thesis for the Degree of the Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences in the speciality 13.00.04 – Theory and Methodology of Professional Education. – Ternopil’ National Pedagogical University named after Volodymyr Hnatiuk, Ministry Education and Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine, Ternopil, 2013. The thesis examines the issue of training of future ecologists for a professional communication in a foreign language environment. The notion of a foreign language professional communication has been defined as the process of information exchange, skills and abilities to render it by means of structures and forms of a foreign language for fulfilling tasks and gaining targets connected with the strategy of interpersonal interaction. A foreign language professional communication has been determined as the component of the integrated notion “professional communication”, owning its specific contents, structure, functions and representing the system element of future specialists’ professional training. The structure of the professional foreign language communicative competence (PFLCC) of students majoring in ecology has been justified. A foreign language communicative competence in complex with general professional competence and special professional competence form the key components of PFLCC. Social, personal, general scientific, instrumental and professional competences belong to general groups of competences, forming PFLCC. Creativeness, ability to think in a system way, ability to study, understanding and knowledge of ethical norms of communicative behaviour and ecological literacy form social and personal competences. Knowledge of fundamental subjects reflect the level of general scientific competence formation. Ability to communicate, perceive and render information in a foreign language as well as in the mother tongue, reseach skills and computer literacy are the main components of instrumental competences. The research proposes an open system of future ecologists’ training that has been elaborated and examined with the account of theoretical and methodological prerequisites of specialist training for professional communication. The system was extrapolated on the teaching process to facilitate the professional foreign language communicative competence of future ecologists. The key characteristics of the open system of ecologists’ training for professional communication in a foreign language environment have been determined: high level of adaptability and integration with educational environment, an ability to incorporate into environment, an ability to impact and alter it. The key components of the open system of future ecologists’ training for professional communication in a foreign language environment have been specified: target, organizational, contensive, procedural, assessment-effective and corrective ones. The constructed system actualizes creative and emotionally intrinsic components of PFLCC, implies forming of speaking abilities in a foreign language environment. The open system of forming PFLCC of future ecologists is established as an integral phenomenon on the basis of the following features: integration qualities and patterns, which are not peculiar to individual system components; frameworks that reflect ties and relationships between components; functional characteristics; relations with the other systems. The elaborated system is defined as an open system, for it changes its indices and development vector under the influence of certain factors. The pedagogical conditions of its implementation are specified by the backbone factors of experimental system. A criterion measure of its efficiency is forming of a creative-reproductive/creative level of students’ PFLCC. The selection criteria and combination of teaching methods are outlines according to the goal and objectives of the system, modular topic, learning abilities of the students. 100 score criterion scale of PFLCC attainment for prospective ecologists is valid within the application of the components of general competences - PFLCC’s subcategories. In this research the efficiency of the open system of future ecologists’ training for professional communication in a foreign language environment has been proved. The main results of the research have been implemented in educational process in higher educational establishments of Ukraine on the basis of a newly-created educational-methodological complex for a foreign language training of future ecologists.
