| Abstract: | The highest roads in the Carpathians (on the territory of Romania) are Transfagarash and Transalpina, which we managed to visit recently. Along the route, you can observe incredible glacial cirques, mountain passes, high-altitude glacial lakes, waterfalls, rocks, the Vidraru dam on the Arges river, fabulous serpentines, which are objects of geotourism and which are among the most attractive tourist destinations in Europe. |
