| Abstract: | The paper analyses the influence of topographic gradient on the comp о sition of natural tree stand. Detailed DEM for the study area was used as a data source for topographic indicators of tree stand composition. A multiple regression model was build using data on tree stand composition and morphometric measures gathered on 78 cites evenly distributed over the study area. As a result of modeling, the composite indicator of tree stand hydromorphity was mapped showing a spatial distribution of well drained and aerated vs. hydromorphic and waterlogged biotopes. |
