Abstract:	In the article illegal activity of ten nunneries of Ukrainian Greco-catholic Church is probed after their liquidation by the Stalin totalitarian mode on territory of western areas of Ukrainian SSR in 1953 and the Church of legalization in 1989. Basic attention is spared the analysis of forms and methods of functioning of devoted by God persons. The process of education of young nuns, structure of monastic associations and their religious activity, is found out among faithful. В статье исследуется нелегальная деятельность десяти женских монастырей Украинской греко-католической церкви после их ликвидации сталинским тоталитарным режимом на территории западных областей Украинской ССР в 1953 г. и до легализации Церкви в 1989 г. Основное внимание уделено анализу форм и методов функционирования монашества. Выяснено процесс воспитания молодых монахинь, структуру монашеских общин и их религиозную деятельность среди верующих.
