| Abstract: | The article deals with the problem of conjunctive cohesion— one of the central categories of a coherent text. The author considers conjunctive cohesion to be a semantic notion. Its essence lies in the specific semantic meanings of conjunctions as cohesive means and the peculiarities of their functions in the fictional text. |
