| Abstract: | The article deals with the problem of the conceptual unity and sign ability of a term within the economic sublanguage in present-day English. These two features are defined as the main criterion of the term/nonterm differentiation. It is shown that a term proper is the conceptual unity possessing sing feature and conveying synthetic concept. |
