Abstract

The article is dedicated to the investigation of the transformation of the title words in “the small forms” artistic prose by M.Kotsybinskiy. As the first sing of the literary work the title creates a definite orientation of the reader’s expectations - prospection of the textual development It is possible to trace the writer’s tendency to use such models of the title that accumulate artistic concept, ideological sense of the literary work. They participate actively in the modelling of the different textual layers, extend their semantic field, gain allegorical, metaphorical character and fulfil the task of being a speci fic “framework” of the text.
