In article the life and career of the vocal teacher of the Moscow institute of the modern art, professor Nadiya Safronova is examined. Pedagogical and performing activity of the singer, brought up in a bosom of the Ukrainian vocal school, is considered through a prism of comparison of the phenomenon of cultural migration and preservation of communications with domestic art. Specificity of pedagogical activity is expressed in the fact that by its very nature it has a humanistic character. This teacher applies with the same love to their profession, and their students. Outstanding Roman rhetorician of I century AD Marcus Fabius Quintilianus coined the expression: «What can be more honest and noble, than train others in in what you are guided in the best way?». These words are the exact characteristic of professor Nadiya Petrivna Safronova. Her pupils are winners of the international competitions in Italy, Ukraine, Finland; many of them work as soloists in regional philharmonic halls, opera theaters of Ukraine and Poland. Life and destiny of Nadiya Safronova were such that since 1993 she works at the Moscow Institute of Modern Art. Obviously, there are bases to speak about extremely relevant today phenomenon of so-called «cultural migration». According to the researcher L. I. Oppeld, it is primarily due to the crisis of economic, social, political and cultural relations. Basically recipient countries are interested in getting ready qualified due to lack of their own high-level specialists. It should be noted, however, that in spite of everything Nadiya Safronova does not break her ties with the homeland – it was the Western Ukraine where she had her creative formation and growth. In pedagogical work, she still adheres to the principles of her vocal teachers – Odarka Bandrivska and Andriy Zador. Most of her life was devoted to the education of Ukrainian singers; she also comes to the homeland for the purpose of holding vocal master classes. Graduates of Institute of Culture in Rivne, where the singer once worked, continue their studies with her also in Moscow. N. Safronova was born in December 1937. Her childhood passed in Nikopol of Dnepropetrovsk region, but her true creative formation began in Uzhgorod. In 1956 she entered the Uzhgorod State Musical College as singer and completed a course in three years. Practicing vocal with Andriy Zador, she seized a significant amount of works of Italian music. After graduating from Music School with honors she entered the Lviv State Conservatory, where she studied from 1956 to 1964 in the class of Odarka Bandrivska, niece and follower of Solomiya Krushelnytska. The singer still remembers teachers of the Lviv Conservatory with warmth, calling them representatives of the old intellectuals who had enormous knowledge, knew many languages, understood the style directions. After completion of studying Nadiya Safronova was qualified as an opera and chamber singer, as well as a vocal teacher. Since 1959, she worked as a soloist at the Lviv Philharmonic and Opera Studio at the Lviv Conservatory. Later, in Rivne Institute of Culture and the Institute of Education, where she began her teaching work, N. Safronova laid the foundations for her teaching skills. Devoting herself to teaching, Nadiya Petrivna obtained her first creative victory. Her students Natalia Svoboda, Vasil Chepelyuk, Nikolay Fengler, and later – Larisa Kovaleva, Olga Pasichnyk, Valery Kirichenko and many others have become professional singers, teachers of high music schools. Pedagogical activity of Nadiya Safronova is a good example of professional excellence and human self-devotion. She is one of those teachers, whom young singers owe their rapid growth and creative success in reaching the top of the vocal art. |
