Теорія і методика формування соціальної компетентності майбутніх соціальних працівників у процесі фахової підготовки

Abstract

У дисертації розглянуто й обґрунтовано теоретичні та методичні основи формування соціальної компетентності майбутніх соціальних працівників в освітньому середовищі закладу вищої освіти. Визначено сутність, складники соціальної компетентності майбутніх соціальних працівників; розроблено критерії, показники, рівні її сформованості в студентів та діагностичний інструментарій для визначення стану сформованості соціальної компетентності майбутніх соціальних працівників. Розроблено модель соціально компетентного соціального працівника. Обґрунтовано концепцію формування соціальної компетентності майбутніх соціальних працівників. Створено, науково обґрунтовано й експериментально перевірено систему формування соціальної компетентності майбутніх соціальних працівників у процесі фахової підготовки.

В диссертации рассмотрены и обоснованы теоретические и методические основы формирования социальной компетентности будущих социальных работников в образовательной среде высшего учебного учреждения. Определяются сущность, компоненты социальной компетентности будущих социальных работников; разработаны критерии, показатели, уровни ее сформированности у студентов и диагностический инструментарий оценки состояния сформированности социальной компетентности будущих социальных работников. Разработана модель социально компетентного социального работника. Обоснована концепция формирования социальной компетентности будущих социальных работников. Создана, научно обоснована и экспериментально проверена система формирования социальной компетентности будущих социальных работников в процессе профессиональной подготовки.

The study reveals and substantiates the theoretical and methodological fundamentals of the social competence formation of future social workers in a higher education institution (HEI). Therefore, within the scientific research, it was established that the social competence of the future specialist is the basis of his/her successful professional development. The training of social workers, social educators – students of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education of the specialty 231 Social work in the field of study 23 Social work is highly emphasized. The requirements for the training of competent social workers in a higher education institution in the following areas are analyzed: state claims; requirements of higher education establishments; demands for the personality of a social worker, due to the professional sphere; social requirements for the social workers’ personality and their training; individual requirements and aspirations of the student concerning professional training and activity; international requirements for the personality of a social worker, and his/her training. Own researches and synthesis of the basic concepts offered by scientists, allowed: 1) to trace basic issues in the future social workers training and their social competence formation; 2) to outline the ways to solve the above-mentioned problems. The analysis of the competency-based approach and actualization of personal skills of lifelong learning facilitated the substantiation of the new paradigm of future social workers training in HEI in terms of their social competence formation. The analysis of dissertations on the research problem testified to the existence of variable approaches to determining the essence and content of social competence, methods of its formation in the higher education institution. The social competence of a future social worker is defined as an integrative characteristic of personality, a set of social knowledge, skills, abilities/ competencies, experience (cognitive-activity component), motives, values, attitudes (value-motivational component) and personal qualities, including professionally significant ones, and abilities (personality-reflexive component) that allow the future specialist to interact effectively with society, establish contacts with various social institutions, groups, individuals, use social technologies and projects in crucial areas of activity and life, productively implement social roles and functions within the competence of the social worker. The criteria, indicators and levels of social competence formation of future social workers (low/reproductive, medium/constructive and high/creative) are determined. Diagnostic tools for assessing the state of social competence formation of future social workers have been developed, considering the formulated concept of «social competence of the future social worker», its content and structure. A model of a competent social worker has been designed. It is based on the semantic characteristics and substantiated structure of the social competence itself, which should be carried by the future specialist. Its structure includes dominant functions of social nature and ability to realize these functions, professionally and socially significant personal qualities and individual properties of socially competent specialist (motivational, value orientations; attitudes; character traits; communicative, verbal skills and reflective skills), system of social competencies. The concept of social competence formation of future social workers is presented as an integral system of views, which makes it possible to create appropriate conditions for the professional training of future social workers and on the basis of which the formation of their social competence takes place. The main idea, purpose, objectives, crucial characteristics of the concept are determined. It is based on the ideas of formal, non-formal, informal education integration; ideas of social competence formation of future social workers in the process of professional training with maintenance of continuous process of improvement, self-improvement and self-development; modernization the educational process implementation in terms of the competency-based approach. Theoretical, methodical, methodological and technological concepts are outlined. The system of social competence formation of future social workers is substantiated and developed. It included the structure of social competence itself, the components of the process of its formation, their interaction and interdependence. The system comprised four blocks: theoretical and methodological, target, content-procedural, effective. The process of the system implementation of social competence formation of future social workers is realized at instructive-motivational, cognitive-activity, reflexive-productive stages. It should be implemented in the educational environment of higher education institution of certain organizational and pedagogical conditions and scientific-methodical support of their realization. The practical significance of the study is that we proved the effectiveness of the developed social competence formation system of future social workers and the possibility of its implementation in the educational process in higher education institution.
