Романівський став як перспективний рекреаційний об’єкт Байковецької об’єднаної територіальної громади

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to study the Romanivsky pond as a potential recreational object, based on indicators of the ecological condition of the reservoir, the recreational capacity of the territory and economic income. As a result of the research it was found out that the number of vacationers is 1.5 times less than the recreational capacity of the territory (in the coastal part of the pond can be 116 people without harm to the environment). The actual average number of vacationers is about 86 people. It is necessary to implement measures to promote the Romanivsky pond as a recreational facility and attract vacationers here. In the case of an increase in the number of vacationers, the community’s profit will be at least 1.5 million UAH for the period from May to September, which is a good financial income (and this is only for parking and fishing). In order to attract vacationers, it’s worthwhile to open a shop in the village of Romanivka and other infrastructure facilities, which would encourage vacationers to stay longer. That will allow the community to receive additional income from these facilities. Due to the fact that the average duration of recreant’s stay at the pond is 2 days, it is worthwhile to set up camping on the shoreline. In order to attract vacationers, it’s worthwhile to hold a variety of competitions, including fishing, kayaking, swimming. It would also be worthwhile to increase the number of garbage cans and give the aesthetic appearance of the existing ones. Assessing the ecological status of the Romanivsky pond, we analyzed the physical parameters of the water. It turned out that they are acceptable for recreational use of the pond.
