Біографічний наратив «Романів Куліша» В. Петрова

Abstract

У статті досліджується наративна структура «Романів Куліша» Віктора Петрова, синтез у ній епістолярію Куліша та дискурсу наратора. Висвітлюється специфіка психологічного аналізу особистості героя, використання домислу, естетизація розповіді. Епістолярний наратив Куліша та метанаратив В.Петрова реконструюють не лише біографію героя, а й дискурси романтичний та кохання в контексті української суспільної думки та літературного життя 50-60-х років ХІХ ст.

The article explores the narrative structure of “Kulish’snovels” by V. Petrov, the synthesis of Kulish’s epistolary and the narrator’s discourse. The specifics of psychological analysis of the personality of the hero, use of speculation, aesthetization of the story are covered. Kulish's epistolary narrative and V. Petrov's meta-narrative reconstruct not only the biography of the hero, but also the discourses of romanticism and love in the context of Ukrainian public thought and literary life of the 1950s and 1960s. The author of the fiction novel plays an important role in the rhetoric of Kulish’s letters, their predilection for literary techniques, which predates the narrator’s ironic attitude. V. Petrov cites the reasons for the novels’ failure due to external social circumstances that guidedKulish’s behavior. However, the biographical discourse of the novel traces the influence of the internal cultural Ego, which controlled and warned Kulish from dealing with women, for whom he came to the conclusion that theyare not ideal. Hence comes the important role in letters of judicious teaching on public matters, national and even personal life.
