Романтичний образ автора у ліриці П.Куліша

Abstract

У статті аналізується суб’єктна структура лірики П.Куліша, а саме образ ліричного автора у поезіях збірки «Досвітки». Простежується як у річищі поетики романтизму розкривається образ автора з концептами відповідальності за долю народу, особистої вибраності, трагічності долі. У руслі фольклорно-історичної течії романтизму поет звертається до історичного минулого, утверджуючи антиколоніальний підтекст.

The article analyzes the subjective structure of P. Kulish’s lyrics, namely the image of the lyric’s author in the poetry included in the collections “Dosvitky” [“Dawns”] and“Chutirnapoesia” [“Small village poetry”]. There is traced how the image of the author in the concepts of responsibility for the fate of the people, personal selectivity, and tragic fate is revealed in the trends of the poetics of romanticism. The poet turns to the historical past claiming anti-colonial overtonesas it is used to be in the folk-historical trend of romanticism. The lyric author builds the artistic world on the romantic antithesis of the juxtaposition of the heroic past and the infamous present. The artist develops a byronic motif of loneliness, his hero in the conditions of an inhumane society closes in the inner world. In this aspect the cordocentrism of artistic thinking, which is characteristic of Ukrainian romantics, remains. The motif of the word, which is embodied in the images of bandura and kobza is important for Kulish’s lyrics. The hero believes in his choice, the transforming power of culture, enlightenment, art, which counteract the destructive force of rebellion violence.
