Działalność bandurzystów galicyjsko-wołyńskich podczas drugiej wojny światowej

Abstract

Przeprowadzono analizę procesów społeczno-kulturowych na ziemiach galicyjsko-wołyńskich, które miały miejsce podczas okupacji sowieckiej i niemieckiej. Stwierdzono, że w tym okresie zapoczątkowano kształcenie bandurowe rodzaju publicznego, przeprowadzenie konkursów chórów amatorskich i instrumentalistów solowych, regularne wyjazdy z występami gościnnymi. Stwierdzono, że kluczowym wydarzeniem tego okresu został Regionalny Zjazd Ukraińskich Pracowników Kultury we Lwowie. Przeprowadzono analizę działalności koncertowo-edukacyjnaj i pedagogicznej bandurzystów, stwierdzono wpływ organizacji koncertowo-artystycznych na rozwój sztuki grania na bandurze w kraju.

The purpose of the article is to highlight Galytsko-Volynian bandurists’ activity during the Second World War, the cooperation both with Eastern Ukrainian artists and Western European music culture representatives, that contributes to the formation of the coherent picture of bandura art development in Ukraine. Research methodology and results. The analysis of social and cultural processes in the Galytsko-Volynian lands, that took place during the period of Soviet and German occupation, has been carried out in the article. It has been found out that during this period the state type of bandura education, the competitions among amateur choirs and soloists-instrumentalists as well as regular concert tours have been established. It has also been revealed that the Regional Congress of Ukrainian Cultural Workers in Lviv was the main cultural and artistic event of the wartime. The work of bandura players in musical and choral, theater and cultural organizations has been analyzed; their role in the development of bandura performance of the region has been discovered. Novelty. The article complements substantially the knowledge in the field of bandura art during the wartime, in particular: it covers the bandurists’ activities – the Galytsko-Volynian school representatives and traces the origins of the festival-competition and cultural-social movement on the territory of Western Ukraine. Practical significance of research results. The materials of the article can be used for the development of training courses, special courses, manuals, textbooks designed for professional art education institutions of III-IV levels of accreditation.
