Наративні принципи давньоукраїнських ляментів

Abstract

У статті окреслено наративну стратегію давньоукраїнських ляментів, що передбачає наявність ряду композиційних блоків: назв-анотацій, епіграфів, передмов, ляментацій (плачів, тренів) і прикінцевих складових – епітафіонів, післямов до читачів, епілогів у формі епіграм. З’ясовано їх функціональне призначення. The article outlines the narrative strategy of the ancient Ukrainian laments, which presupposes the presence of a number of compositional blocks and their functional purpose. In particular, this is the title in the form of an abstract, actualization of the text of the Holy Scriptures in epigraphs, activation of the reader's and listening perceptions in the preface, and rhetorical saturation of structural blocks in the form of laments, wailings and threnodies aimed at vulnerable recipients, who are capable of engaging in author's emotions. The final components of the laments – epitaphs, afterword for readers, and epilogues in the form of epigrams play an important role. It is emphasized that in laments the search for answers to painful existential issues (life and death, eternity and transience, the posthumous destiny of a person, etc.) is supported by the reflections on ideological and philosophical topics in the traditional spirit of Christianity and by the examples of life of the deceased, biblical and ancient history, which highlight the figure of the addressee, his importance in church and public life, and the position of the author, his attitude towards the deceased, social and historical events, moral and ethical norms. The attention is paid to the way of the artistic design of the material, which involves the presence of several coherent points of view on the same event in the format of monologues and dialogues (or their imitation).
