Abstract: | The article analyzes the theoretical aspects and relevance of socio-psychological peculiarities of students' adaptation to studying at a high school. The student's age is described as the most favorable for psychological and social development. The characteristic features and contradictions of the socio-psychological nature of the development of student youth are also considered. The basic psychological mechanisms of reconstruction and students' consciousness, neoplasms of the given age are outlined. The importance of diagnosing socio-psychological adaptation of students of the first year is highlighted. Here are also presented the results of empirical research, which characterize existing problems with the process of social-psychological adaptation, inability to carry out psychological self-regulation of their own activities and behavior of students - future psychologists. The necessity of active development of social structures that promote successful socialization and professional formation of student youth is emphasized. |
