Австрійський прозаїк Йозеф Рот у багатокультурному світі

Abstract

У статті робиться спроба дослідити творчість австрійського прозаїка Йозефа Рота у багатокультурному світі, розглянути низку критеріїв географічного, історичного, соціокультурного та естетичного характеру, яка дає можливість співвідносити індивідуальні своєрідні явища національних культур за типологічно сумірними параметрами та дозволяє певним чином упорядковувати безпосередню літературну рецепцію текстів свого реґіону. Також у цій аналітико-синтезуючій процедурі порушено проблему домінанти, яка утримує рівновагу структур художнього світу кількох творів саме на перетині зближуваних культур і їх творців.

The article attempts to explore the work of the Austrian writer Joseph Roth in a multicultural world, to consider a number of criteria for a geographical, historical, socio-cultural and aesthetic character that makes it possible to correlate individual unique phenomenon of national cultures by using typologically comparable options. In a certain way, it allows to put in good order direct literary reception of texts of its region. Also in this analytical and synthetic study, the dominant issue is violated. It holds the balance of the structures of the art world in several works at the intersection of family cultures and their creators. This convergence may be necessary historical, geopolitical casual but internally logical. Therefore, this article describes the construction of paradigmatics at a certain stage of comparative studies. From this point of view, the prose of Joseph Roth and Ukrainian authors of the twentieth century converge and disclose typological compliances not only in perception of the literary competent recipient, but also in referent and inner text relations. Hence, it forms and finds an adequate addressee. The typology is based on the collectivity of works written by J. Roth and Ukrainian writers although the behavioral paradigms of the depicted heroes, typical characters, and inner motives of world perception generated by the related existential situations are more distinctly depicted in some of the texts. Therefore, only by analyzing either the works by J. Roth or Ukrainian writers it is possible to identify and describe the typological compliance. Both authors having opposing fates lost their homeland and became eternal travelers – immigrants after the collapse of the Austro – Hungarian Empire. As to their characters, we can observe that they have gained the similar status –the status of fugitives. Ukrainian and Austrian writers’ heroes being already at large were constantly recalling the horrors of the war’s early days, positional battles, and concentration camps’ incidents. Elements of artistic discourse, journalistic and scientific expression of Austrian and Ukrainian historians' reflections of the events of World War I, from our point of view, increase the comparison of the typology of character-shaped material of Ukrainian writers and those time dimensions that are typical for works of Galician-Habsburg myth or geopolitical area.

В статье сделана попытка исследовать творчество австрийского писателя Йозефа Рота в поликультурном мире, рассмотреть ряд критериев географического, исторического, социокультурного и эстетического характера, который дает возможность соотносить индивидуальные своеобразные явления национальных культур с типологически соизмеримыми параметрам и позволяет определенным образом упорядочить литературную рецепцию текстов своего региона. Также в этой аналитико-синтезирующей процедуре поднята проблема доминанты, которая удерживает равновесие структур художественного мира нескольких произведений именно на пересечении сближающихся культур и их создателей.
