Фортепіанне тріо Теленків та його роль у культурно-мистецькому житті Тернополя кінця ХХ століття

Abstract

У статті проаналізовано виконавську та культурно-просвітницьку діяльність представників родини Теленків у контексті мистецького життя Тернополя кінця XX століття. Окреслено роль фортепіанного тріо Теленків у розвитку камерного ансамблевого музикування на Тернопіллі. Розглянуто персоналії Романа, Ярослава та Габріели Теленків як талановитих виконавців та педагогів.

В статье проанализировано исполнительскую и культурно-просветительскую деятельность представителей семьи Теленко в контексте культурной жизни Тернополя конца XX века. Обозначено роль фортепианного трио Теленко в развитии камерного ансамблевого музицирования на Тернопольщине. Рассмотрено персоналии Романа, Ярослава и Габриэллы Теленко как талантливых исполнителей и педагогов.

The piano trio of the Telenkos made a powerful contribution to Galician chamber and instrumental tradition. Its musical and performing activity caused a considerable revival of cultural and artistic life of Ternopil Region, the formation of the cultural musical environment of Ternopil and its region thanks to educational and artistic mission of the trio and pedagogical activity of everybody of its participants. The chamber and instrumental trio of Gabriella (the wife of Yaroslav) (piano), Roman (violoncello) and Yaroslav (violin) Telenko started its activity in the Ternopil Philharmonics in 1979. Since 1980 they went on music tours to the cities of Ukraine. Its repertoire included impressive samples of music by foreign and Ukrainian composers, modern ones in particular. As the evidence of formation of new traditions of school of chamber Ukrainian performance designated by great professional skills, originality of interpretation, the musical progress of the Ternopil piano trio was noted by reviewers in the local and republican periodical press. The trio took part in the activity of the society of “Gold September”, performing at the opening ceremonies of art exhibitions, presentations in the museums, near the architecture monuments. This creative activity was discontinued by the untimely death of both brothers. Yaroslav (1948 – 1994) and Roman (1951 – 1987) Telenkos were brought up in an intelligent, creative and hospitable family in the village of Bila (Ternopil district), the place of birth of the celebrated S. Krushelnitska. Both brothers studied music in the Ternopil music school No. 1, later in the Ternopil musical school named after S. Krushelnitska and finally in the Lviv conservatory named after M. Lysenko. Carrying on a related tradition and developing pedagogical ideas of their mentors, the talented musicians and creative teachers were in the center of spiritual musical life of Ternopil at the end of the XX century and left behind grateful memories of colleagues, and pupils. The musical related tradition is carried on by Gabriella Telenko. Today G. Telenko works as piano teacher in the Ternopil musical school after S. Krushelnitska being a great pianist and the soloist of the Galician chamber orchestra. Summarizing, we note that the brothers Jaroslaw and Roman Telenky and Gabriella made a significant contribution to the cultural and artistic life of Ternopil region. This is demonstrated in their participation created by the same piano trio that worked in the Ternopil Regional Philharmonic and Galician chamber orchestra in force at the palace of culture “Vatra”. Their active artistic activities in creative teams is a manifestation of high professionalism and civil position.
