Суспільні настрої населення Волинської губернії у період Першої світової війни

Abstract

Мета статті полягає у висвітленні змін суспільної свідомості і настроїв населення Волинської губернії, детерміновані Першою світовою війною, що створює підґрунтя для проведення історичних паралелей із сучасністю. Основа методології складається із загальнонаукових (аналізу, синтезу, індукції, дедукції) та спеціальних історичних (історико-типологічного, історико-систем ного) методів, що поєднуються з реалізацією принципів історичного дослідження. Наукова новизна роботи зводиться до комплексного та ґрунтовного вивчення проблеми, що розкриває тему трансфор мації суспільних настроїв населення Волині під час Великої війни. Висновки. Початок Першої світової війни відзначився високим рівнем патріотичного піднесення, який внаслідок воєнних дій та складних економічних умов зазнав кардинальної трансформації.

The purpose of the article is to highlight the changes in public consciousness and sentiment of the population of Volyn province, determined by the First World War, which creates a basis for drawing historical parallels with the present. The basis of the methodology consists of general scientific (analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction) and special historical (historical-typological, historical-systemic) methods, combined with the implementation of the principles of historical research. The scientific novelty of the work is reduced to a comprehensive and thorough study of the problem, which reveals the theme of the transformation of public sentiment of the population of Volyn during the Great War. Conclusions. The beginning of the First World War was marked by a high level of patriotic upsurge, which, as a result of military operations and diffi cult economic conditions, underwent a cardinal transformation.
