Abstract

The article is aimed at highlighting the activities of Olympic education and their impact on the formation of patriotic education of the younger generation. Olympic education is considered as part of general education, which is one of the effective means of promoting Olympic ideals, disseminating knowledge about the Olympic movement, its history and modernity. The main directions of its work in general education and special education are outlined. It is determined that the projects implemented by the IOC contribute to the formation of humanistic ideas in young people and contribute to the patriotic education of young people.
