Застосування елементів STREAM-технології на заняттях з української мови

Abstract

У статті з’ясовано можливості впровадження методики STREAM під час навчання української мови в закладах загальної середньої освіти. Запро- поновано орієнтовні види завдань відповідно до основних засад методики; окреслено основні вміння і навички, виробленню яких сприяє застосування STREAM-технології (різноаспектний аналіз явища, пошук оригінальних спо- собів виконання проблемного завдання, вибудовування ланцюжка “від кон- кретного до абстрактного”, цілісного сприйняття розглядуваного об’єкта. Високий рівень сформованості окреслених умінь у подальшому позитивно вплине на вироблення їхніх ключових компетентностей.

In the article the authors analyse the possibilities of using the STREAM methodology in teaching the Ukrainian language in general secondary education institutions. The expediency and methodological validity of using this educational technology in Ukrainian language classes is undeniable however this issue has not been sufficiently covered in the scientific and methodological literature yet and thus requires consideration. The purpose of the study is to find out the possibilities of using STREAM-technology elements in Ukrainian language classes in general secondary education institutions. The aim is to identify and characterize the forms of using STREAM-technology in Ukrainian language classes; to offer model task types in accordance with the basic principles of the technology; to outline the basic skills and abilities, the development of which is facilitated by the use of STREAM-technology. The authors of the article note that the introduction of STREAM-technology elements in Ukrainian language classes will contribute to the fullest coverage of the language phenomenon, the study of which is required by the current curriculum, will provide interdisciplinary communications, applied theoretical knowledge in various subjects. The use of the proposed types of work (analysis of language phenomena, creation of dictionaries, presentations, memes, lapbooks, trailers, videos, etc.) will help develop students’ skills: comprehensive analysis of the phenomenon, finding original ways to complete the task (outlining possible options, comparing them and determining the most optimal one), building a chain “from concrete to abstract”, a holistic perception of the object. The high level of formation of the outlined skills will further positively affect the development of their key competencies.
