Музичне формотворення щедрівок Західного Поділля

Abstract

Виявлено основні принципи формотворення щедрівок Західного Поділля як складової їхньої мелодики. Простежено історичне становлення музичного синтаксису від найдавніших форм – простої періодичності до пізніших – складнопідрядного музичного речення у піснях цього народнопісенного жанру. Визначено, на прикладах мелодій ряду щедрівок, шляхи переходу від простої періодичності через складносурядне музичне речення до складно підрядності.

The aim of the article is to identify the main principles of formation of the shchedrivkas of Western Podillya, taking into account their historical formation and development, to analyze the shchedrivkas of the studied ethnographic region at the level of a simple sentence, to identify the ways of formation of shchedrivkas of the specified type, which create complex sentences. Research methodology. The methodological basis of the study consists of the ethnomusicological works of Ukrainian and foreign scientists who consider the melody of ritual songs as a component of calendar holidays in the context of their historical development. The works of scientists F. Kolessa, S. Hrytsa, A. Ivanytskyi, and L. Vynogradova deserve special attention, who consider musical folklore based on their historical formation and the emergence of their forms within the framework of development from simple to complex. Methods. The following research methods are used in the article to solve individual provisions and tasks. Namely: source studies, retrospective, historical-typological, cultural, structural-analytical, comparative. It is such a systematic approach in the application of analytical methods that will ensure the thoroughness of the understanding of folk music forms of shchedrivkas, their division into three stages, and will prove the presence of melodic links in them, which determine the essence of the formation of the historical syntax of folklore. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the fact that for the first time the history of the formation and development of folk music forms is examined using the examples of the folk music of Western Podillya. The opinion that the folk music forms in the songs of this genre have evolved from simple periodicity through a complex sentence and completed their formation with a complex sentence has been clarified. The practical significance of the study is that its results can be used by scientists and practicing musicians in the analysis of simple forms in both folklore and academic music.
