Військова лексика у мові сучасного художнього твору: функціональний аспект

Abstract

Статтю присвячено семантико-функціональному аналізу військової лексики у прозі сучасного українського письменника, очевидця воєнних подій на Сході України Олександра Вільчинського. З’ясовано специфіку вживання військового сленгу на матеріалі твору «У степу під Авдіївкою».

Each national army has its own distinctive features, structural and organizational levels, laws, customs, traditions, and slang peculiar only for this one. Taking into account that the military operation in the East of Ukraine has been going on for more than five years, the Ukrainian military vocabulary are greatly enriched during this period. We believe that works on military topics are a new milestone of contemporary Ukrainian literature, and the theme of the Russian-Ukrainian war has just been entering the literary area. The relevance of the study of military vocabulary is caused by the rapid and continuous updating of terminological vocabulary with new linguistic units, which gives scientists valuable material for studying. The objective of the work was to study the features of the «military vocabulary» concept and to determine the main linguistic characteristics of terms of military affairs in the literary language of the contemporary author. The subject of the study was the military vocabulary used to refer to military realities, and the object was the peculiarities of its linguistic activation in O. Vilchinsky's novel «In the Steppe near Avdiivka». It has been applied the descriptive and comparative methods while studying. The proposed work is one of the first attempts to describe military vocabulary in the literary language of Olexandr Vilchinsky, whose personal biography has already been intertwined with the national tragedy of the people.
