Динаміка функціонування Міжнародного фестивалю лялькових театрів «Обереги» (Івано-Франківськ) в контексті розвитку сучасного українського театрального мистецтва

Abstract

У статті проаналізовано діяльність Міжнародного фестивалю театрів ляльок «Обереги», який проводиться Івано-Франківським академічним обласним театром ляльок ім. Марійки Підгірянки. Визначено зміст, мету і функції фестивалю «Обереги» впродовж його функціонування (з 2001 р.), оцінено місце і роль фестивалю в загальнотеатральному фестивальному русі в Україні та за кордоном. Здійснено аналіз динаміки фестивалю, специфіку і тематику кожних фестивальних програм, визначено функції театральних вистав, представлених для глядачів.

В статье проанализирована деятельность Международного фестиваля кукольных театров «Обереги», который проводится Ивано-Франковским академическим областным театром кукол им. М. Пидгирянки. Определено содержание, цель и функции фестиваля «Обереги» на протяжении его функционирования (с 2001 г.); оценено место и роль фестиваля в общетеатральном фестивальном движении в Украине и за рубежом. Проведен анализ динамики фестиваля, специфики и тематики фестивальных программ, определены функции театральных спектаклей, представленных для зрителей.

The article presents the analysis of the International Festival of Puppet Theaters «Oberehy» held in Mariyka Pidhirianka Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Academic Puppet Theatre. The main tasks of the article are as follows: to determine the content, purpose and functions of the «Oberehy» festival during its functioning (since 2001); to compare it with similar festivals held in Ukraine; to assess the place and role of the Festival in general theater festival movement in Ukraine and abroad. The specifics of puppet theaters Festival, its peculiarities in the context of the themes, emotional, artistic and theatrical means were determined. The article provides analysis of the dynamics of the Festival, the specifics and themes of every festival program; it determines the functions of theatrical performances presented to viewers. During five Festivals there were held creative competitions too, which allowed to determine the winners in the categories Best Performance, the Implementation of Stage Work Using Music and Folk Song, Best Scenography, Best Music Solution for the Performance, Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Director, Best Festival Costumes, Best Artist, Best Debut. The conducted analysis leads to the following conclusions. Theatre Festival «Oberehy» has a clear concept – the national classics on the puppet theatre stage. Thanks to this concept the theatre promotes with its artistic means Ukrainian heritage among junior and adult audience, relying on national traditions. Festival has enriched the theatrical treasury of Ukraine with new performances, new discoveries. «Oberehy» became a creative laboratory for actors, directors, artists, composers, puppeteers and students of higher educational institutions of theatrical art. This helps to trace the dynamics of theatrical life nowadays. Geographically, Festival made it possible to expand the cultural horizons of both artists and audience, and attracted to the participation all regions of Ukraine and guests from abroad too. During the Festival Ivano-Frankivsk was visited by theatres with theatrical productions from Kyiv, Kharkiv, Khmelnytsky, Lviv, Poltava, Zakarpattia, Cherkasy, Chernivtsi, Kherson; also from Belarus, Russia, Poland, Estonia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania. Festival returned the interest of directors and audience in national drama (Ukrainian as well as translated classics); during the Festival there were held about 60 performances of works by Ukrainian and world classics such as: Ivan Franko, Oleksandr Oles, Bohdan Stelmakh, Marko Kropyvnytsky, Hnat Khotkevych, Nikolai Gogol, Mykola Lysenko, Leo Tolstoy, Alexander Pushkin, Anton Chekhov, Ivan Kotliarevsky, Hans Christian Andersen, Federico Garcia Lorca, Sholem Aleichem, and also folk tales , epics, stories, dramatic poems and opera. Directors while seeking their way in theatre art and focusing on national cultural features of their country demonstrated current trends in classical productionsand did not betray established traditions in the process. Performances-participants of the puppet Festival are aimed not only at young viewers, but at multi-age audience, which encouraged the Festival’s versatility. Stage performances became a step back to childhood for adults. The Festival has played an important communicative, socio-cultural, psychological, hedonistic function for the whole audience. In general, the international festival of national classics on the stage of the puppet theatre «Oberehy» has an important purpose: it not only embodies the works of art on the scene, but also enriches the communication and spiritual inner world of the viewer.
