Ігор Левенець – керівник самодіяльної народної хорової капели “Галичина” обласного методичного центру народної творчості Тернопільщини

Abstract

У статті висвітлено становлення та діяльність самодіяльної народної хорової капели “Галичина” Науково-методичного центру народної творчості Тернопільщини під керівництвом заслуженого діяча мистецтв України Ігоря Левенця. Проаналізовано концертну діяльність і репертуар колективу та основні методи роботи з ним. Закцентовано увагу на участі хорової капели “Галичина” в міжнародних та всеукраїнських конкурсах і фестивалях та відзначенні її високими нагородами впродовж 1991–1996 років.

В статье освещены становление и деятельность самодеятельной народной хоровой капеллы “Галичина” Научно-методического центра народного творчества Тернопольщины под руководством заслуженного деятеля искусств Украины Игоря Левенца. Проанализированы концертная деятельность, репертуар коллектива и основные методы работы с ним. Акцентировано внимание на участии хоровой капеллы “Галичина” в международных и всеукраинских конкурсах и фестивалях и отмечании ее высокими наградами на протяжении 1991–1996 годов.

In the article is drawn to attention to the fact, that the choir “Galychyna” started its activities at that time, when the Soviet communist system began to decline. Therefore Igor Levenets as a national conscious and public-spirited citizen decided to create a collective, which would be able to promote genuine Ukrainian national choral music and works by foreign composers-classics. In 1990 in the city of Ternopil began to operate a collective of the new direction, with new conceptual approaches to promote choral singing. This collective has set a goal – to promote Ukrainian national choral music, recover of the choral traditions that were prevalent in Galychyna before the arrival of Soviet power. Been shown that Choir “Galychyna” was born in times of political events that preceded the birth of independence of Ukraine. This period was the basis for policy rethinking repertoire and new approaches to the celebration of national holidays. Echo of celebration of the 1000-th anniversary of the Baptism of Ukraine-Rus, inspired which were all creative collectives of Ternopil, became the basis for the preparation Igor Levenets with the Choir “Galychyna” Divine Liturgy and presenting it to the public audience not only in religious premises, but also in concert halls. Wide Audience of Ternopil region first had the opportunity to listen to spiritual songs of Ukrainian composers (M. Verbitskyi, D. Sichinskyi, O. Koshits, M. Lysenko, A. Hnatyshyn, etc.). In live performance after the long Soviet atheistic desolation assess not only the greatness of the Church music as such, but also its deep interpretation under able leadership of Master of choral singing – Igor Levenets. Noted that none artistic evening devoted to anniversary of the Great Kobzar not do without the participation of the choir “Galychyna”. In its repertoire included works by Ukrainian composers to Shevchenko words “Testament” of D. Gladkyi arranged for choir L. Revutskyi), “Cherry Orchard Circle house” of B. Vakhnyanyn, “Do we still get together again” of S. Lyudkevych “Count in captivity” of D. Sichinskyi et al. It is noted that Choir “Galychyna” is the winner of international and Ukrainian competitions and festivals which took place in Kyiv, Odesa, Ternopil, Lutsk, Poltava, Kaniv. Concertmaster of choir “Galychyna” was a talented pianist, teacher of Ternopil S. Krushelnytska music school Nadiya Frayt. In 1996, after a serious illness Igor Levenets stopped manage of Choir “Galycyna” and focused on working with the choir of Ternopil S. Krushelnytska music school and educational activities. So amateur folk choir “Galychyna” directed by Igor Levenets as a creative collective made a significant contribution to the revival and creation of Ukrainian national choral traditions. Its active participation in the concert life of the city of Ternopil, Ternopil region and republican art events is invaluable and example for future generations. Indicative in its activity is to promote the national church music and musical works to Shevchenko words. All this gives grounds to put Choir “Galychyna” in a number of leading highly collectives of Ukraine.
