Міфоніми в українській етнокультурі й творчості письменників кінця ХІХ-початку ХХ століть

Abstract

Досліджено міфоніми в українській етнокультурі та поетичній драматичній творчості Лесі Українки та Олександра Олеся. Наукові зацікавлення сконцентровано на демонообразах, представлених низкою номінацій. Аналіз засвідчив авторське використання характерних для української етнокультури міфонімів, насичених індивідуально-авторськими смислами, що акцентує особливість творчої манери українських письменників кінця ХІХ – початку ХХ ст.

The article is devoted to the research of mythologies in Ukrainian ethno-culture and poetic drama works of Lesya Ukrainka and Oleksandr Oles’. Scientific interest focuses on demons, which are represented by a number of nominations. Nowadays the development of linguistic science, literary and artistic onomastics deserves special attention, which plays a special role in understanding the essence of an literary work. The myth in the literary text, actualizes cultural, philosophical, religious, mythological information, causes certain associations, develops symbolic meanings, reveals and perpetuates the leading motives of the work, promotes a deep understanding of philosophical problems, makes it possible to determine the amount of intellectual interests of the author. Onomastic space of drama works of authors is built up mainly by the three main categories of proper names. In general, the onomastics of drama works by the authors is a highly intelligent, ingenious whole. Onomastic space of drama works by the authors of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries is built, in our opinion, such by types as mytho-anthroponies (Mermaid, Maug, Losotarkaya), mytho-personyms (the one that sits in the rock, the dam that dervishes), mythozonyms (Flamingo (fire snake)). Others are extremely rare. Most of them have appealing mythos (mara, monster, sazotrus, pricked and under). All onymies are always very relevant, well thought out and detached. It seems that much attention paid to them by the authors, are skillfully wrote out. Both Christian and pagan demonology were reflected in the works of Lesya Ukrainka and Oleksandr Oles’. In general, the onomastics of drama works by the authors is a highly intelligent, ingenious unity. The recorded myths testified that they were used in the values characteristic of the Ukrainian mythology, but were saturated with individual and author's meanings, which proved the peculiarity of the creative manner of writers
