The researcher emphasises that integration into the European cultural space is important for the formation of new trends in contemporary Ukrainian music, while preserving its national identity. The study analyses in detail the key stages of development of Ukrainian music, starting with the underground movement of the 1980s and ending with contemporary trends that cover genre diversity – from ethno-electronic to pop music. Particular attention is paid to the influence of such well-known artists as ONUKA, Go_A, Kalush Orchestra, who successfully combine traditional Ukrainian motifs with modern European genres, contributing to the international popularisation of Ukrainian culture. European integration processes also open up new opportunities for Ukrainian performers through participation in events such as the Eurovision Song Contest, music festivals such as Atlas Weekend, and cooperation with international grant programmes (Erasmus+, Creative Europe). These programmes facilitate the exchange of experience between Ukrainian and European artists, allowing them to improve their professional skills, strengthen cultural ties and improve the quality of music products. The publication emphasises the important role of modern digital platforms and social media, which allow Ukrainian artists to reach a wide international audience. As an example, the author examines the activities of the singer Yaktak, whose works have become popular thanks to the algorithms of platforms such as YouTube and Spotify, which contributes to the integration of Ukrainian music into the global cultural space. The main focus is on conceptual approaches to understanding cultural and artistic practices proposed by both Western and Ukrainian researchers, including Michael Fraze, Olga Kopiyevska, Anna Ursan and Graham Sullivan. Their definitions, the role of the semantics of socio-cultural habitus, the impact of technology and social processes on the evolution of art are considered. The article also analyses the forms of events and events that include artistic elements (concerts, exhibitions, quests, flash mobs, podcasts, festivals), as well as their specificity in terms of socio-cultural design, organisation and impact on the audience. The key functions of art festivals are highlighted and innovative approaches to their management are presented. The author emphasises the role of artistic practices as a tool for preserving cultural heritage, interacting between cultures and shaping new aesthetic narratives in a globalised society. The study focuses on a deep analysis and understanding of artistic practices in the context of cultural phenomena, focusing on their essence and interrelationships.
